How Does a Ductless HVAC System Work?
A ductless mini-split system has an outdoor compressor unit, similar to a central air conditioning system. Indoors, a series of wall-mounted air handlers bring cooled or heated air into the home.
But instead of using duct work, these mini air handlers funnel the treated air through hoses installed inside the walls. This setup greatly simplifies the installation process compared to running ductwork for a traditional central air conditioning system or furnace.
